Our Services

Hormone health

We specialize in optimizing and balancing hormones for both women and men. If your hormones are low, we help your body fill the gap to prevent cellular depravation, which can lead to symptoms and potential disease.

For men, we offer testosterone replacement therapy while ensuring estrogen levels are also balanced. My strong preference is to work with men as part of a couple, rather than as an individual patient.

For women, we manage PCOS and menopause symptoms. Although menopause is a natural phase of life, experiencing suffering during this time is not necessary. Testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone replacement are considered for all women. This is part of what sets our clinic apart, we replace testosterone as needed in women.

PrimeLife believes it is time for you to flourish! Our customized plans support your overall well-being and vitality.

What the Hormone replacment journey looks like for women & men

First visit: together we will review labs, review completed symptom assessment questionnaires, document your health history, review current medications and supplements, and discuss risks versus benefits. If you decide to proceed with HRT, a three-month supply will be prescribed and delivered to your home.

Second visit: Prior to this visit, repeat hormone labs. Repeat labs between six and ten weeks after starting HRT. We will review your lab results, reassess your symptoms, and then prescribe a three-month supply of HRT with dose adjustments as needed.

Third visit: prior to your visit, repeat hormone labs. During your visit, we will review symptoms, review labs, and then reorder 3 to 6 months of HRT.

By the third or fourth visit, most individuals experience optimized and balanced hormones. If receiving testosterone replacement, we can prescribe up to six months of HRT. For those who are not receiving testosterone, we can prescribe up to 12 months of HRT.

It is important to note that a clinic visit with lab work is required each time hormones are prescribed. This ensures that your treatment continues to align with your ongoing needs.

PrimeLife carefully and slowly fills your hormone needs. After the initial prescription one to three adjustments are needed to optimize and balance your unique hormone needs.

Weight Loss

Weight gain is a common symptom during perimenopause and at PrimeLife, we understand that this is not simply a matter of willpower. Various factors, including hormone imbalances, contribute to weight changes during this time. We provide personalized plans that include routine assessments, body composition scans, medications, supplements, exercise objectives, and nutritional goals.

Our expert medical management includes options like GLP-1 receptor agonists, such as, semaglutide (Ozempic or Wegovy) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro or Zepbound). These medications are FDA approved to treat diabetes, promote weight loss, and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Our clinic uses a national compound pharmacy and supports a variety of off label indications of use to ensure comprehensive care tailored to your needs.

Sexual health

Sexual health support encompasses managing:

  • vaginal dryness

  • vulvovaginal disorders

  • urinary health concerns

  • pain with intercourse

  • hyposexual desire disorder (HSDD)

  • erectile dysfunction

  • premature ejaculation

  • low libido

Treatment options may include hormone therapy, lifestyle changes, cognitive approaches, supplements, and medications.

A significant “orgasm gap” exists between men and women. Men’s orgasm rates range from 70% to 85%, while women’s range from 46% to 58% (Gesselman et al., 2024).

Quality sexual intimacy plays a vital role in enhancing emotional connections which contribute to healthy long-term relationships and improve quality of life. Ultimately, everyone deserves to experience orgasms and enjoy fulfilling sexual experiences.

Longevity medicine

is an emerging field aimed at improving healthspan and lifespan by specific dietary and exercise regimes, as well as by biomedical interventions aimed at delaying or slowing the aging process. At PrimeLife we promote healthy lifestyle and offer geroprotectors. A geroprotector is a compound that can stop or reverse the process of cellular aging. Studies have suggested different nutrients, peptides, and hormones can operate as geroprotectors. Some examples are micronutrients, melatonin, carnosine, GLP-1 receptor agonists, metformin, and hormones.
