PrimeLife clinic Services

Hormone health

We specialize in optimizing and balancing hormones for both women and men. If your hormones are low, we help your body fill the gap to prevent cellular depravation, which can lead to symptoms and potential disease and lack of vitality.

For men, we offer testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) while ensuring estrogen levels are balanced. We also consider replacing progesterone, a forgotten hormone in men. My strong preference is to work with men as part of a couple, rather than as an individual patient.

For women, we manage polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), perimenopause symptoms, and menopause symptoms for women. It is a privilege of live long enough to go through the menopause transition and while menopause is a mandatory; suffering is not! Testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone replacement are considered for all women. This is part of what sets our clinic apart, we replace testosterone as needed in women.

PrimeLife believes it is time for you to live life to the fullest! Our customized plans support your overall well-being, vitality, and longevity.

Cost:

Initial consultation is $300 for one hour. To ensure a productive meeting, we kindly ask you to bring your lab results, a list of your current medications with doses, a list of symptoms you are experiencing, and any questions you have for the provider.

Follow up office visits: $180 for 30 minutes. $100 for 15 minutes. Up to one 30-minute visit every 3-4 months is complementary if receiving testosterone replacement.

Note: Ordering labs is complimentary. Cost to run the labs varies based on insurance coverage.

TRT for men cost is $205 per month (paying 4-6 months at a time). Cost includes medication, injection supplies, and medical management.

Cost for testosterone pellet insertion for men varies between $800 - $1000 each insertion based on the number of pellets needed. Pellets usually last 4-6 months. Cost includes pellets, procedure, and medical management.

TRT only for women $100 per month (paying 1 - 4 months at a time). Cost includes medication, supplies, and medical management.

TRT and systemic estrogen from a compound pharmacy cost is $140 per month. Vaginal estrogen and oral progesterone are ordered through your local pharmacy. Cost varies based on product ordered and insurance coverage. With insurance, most women do not pay more than $30 per month for vaginal estrogen and oral progesterone. Total cost for most women on all four HRT is $170 per month.

What to expect during your Hormone replacment journey

First visit: Together we will review your labs, review completed symptom assessment questionnaires, document your health history, review medications and supplements, obtain a baseline InBody scan, and discuss risks versus benefits. After this initial consultation, telehealth visits are an option for follow up appointments.

Cost ranges from $70 - $205 per month. Typically, four to six months of medication is ordered at a time.

Second visit: Repeat hormone lab collection six to ten weeks after starting BHRT. Together, we will review your lab results, reassess your symptoms, and then prescribe HRT with dose adjustments as needed.

Third visit: Same as the second visit.

By the third or fourth visit, most individuals achieve optimized and balanced hormones. If receiving testosterone replacement, we can prescribe up to six months of Testosterone. For those who are not receiving testosterone, we can prescribe up to 12 months of BHRT.

It is important to note that a clinic visit with lab work is helpful each time hormones are prescribed. This ensures that your treatment continues to align with your ongoing needs.

PrimeLife carefully and slowly fills your body’s unique hormone needs.

Weight Loss

Weight gain is a common symptom during perimenopause and at PrimeLife, we understand that this is not a matter of willpower. Various factors, including hormone imbalances, contribute to weight changes during this time. We provide personalized plans that include routine assessments, body composition scans, medications, supplements, exercise objectives, and nutritional goals.

Our expert medical management may include offering a Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1RA), such as, semaglutide (Ozempic or Wegovy), tirzepatide (Mounjaro or Zepbound), and Liraglutide (Victoza or Saxenda).

These medications are FDA approved to treat:

  • Type 2 diabetes

  • Obesity (BMI >30),

  • Sleep apnea

  • Metabolic dysfunction–associated steatohepatitis (MASH)

  • Reduce the risk of cardiovascular events

To ensure comprehensive care is tailored to your needs, PrimeLife providers use national compound pharmacies when prescribing generic GLP-1RAs (semaglutide, tirzepatide, or liraglutide) and supports a variety of on (see above) and off label indications:

  • Pre-diabetes

  • Protect neurological health

  • Decrease inflammation

  • Support weight loss if overweight or have elevated visceral fat, despite a BMI <25

Cost of Semaglutide

Cost of a 5mL vial 2.5mg/mL of Semaglutide (generic for Ozempic and Wegovy) is $1000. This cost includes the medication, syringes, alcohol wipes, and expert medical management. Cost per month is based on the dose you need. Most people use 0.1 mL - 0.6 mL SQ injection per week.

0.25mg per week will last 1 year ($84 per month)

0.2 mL (0.5mg) per week will last 25 weeks (6 months; cost is $167 per month).

0.4 mL (1 mg) per week will last 12.5 weeks (just over 3 months; cost is $334 per month).

0.6 mL (1.5 mg) per week will last 8 weeks (2 months; cost is $5oo per month).

GLP-1RA Update:

One of the two national compound pharmacies Primelife has a relationship with will be discontinue compounding all GLP-1RA and the above information about semaglutide is related to their product.

October 15th

This will be the LAST day to order Semaglutide 12.5mg.

Good news!

Our other national compound pharmacy will continue to offer all GLP-1RAs. Please note there may be concentration changes and price changes after moving to use a different compound pharmacy.

  • vulvovaginal disorders

  • urinary health concerns

  • hyposexual desire disorder (HSDD)

  • erectile dysfunction

  • premature ejaculation

Treatment options may include hormone therapy, lifestyle changes, cognitive approaches, supplements, and medications.

A significant “orgasm gap” exists between men and women. Men’s orgasm rates range from 70% to 85%, while women’s range from 46% to 58% (Gesselman et al., 2024).

Quality sexual intimacy plays a vital role in enhancing emotional connections which contribute to healthy long-term relationships and improve quality of life. Ultimately, everyone deserves to experience orgasms and enjoy fulfilling sexual experiences.

Longevity medicine

is an emerging field aimed at improving healthspan and lifespan by specific dietary and exercise regimes, as well as by biomedical interventions aimed at delaying or slowing the aging process. At PrimeLife we promote healthy lifestyle and offer geroprotectors. A geroprotector is a compound that can stop or reverse the process of cellular aging. Studies have suggested different nutrients, peptides, and hormones can operate as geroprotectors. Some examples are micronutrients, melatonin, carnosine, glutathione, NAD+, GLP-1 receptor agonists, metformin, and hormones.
